France REX Nigel est un véritable artiste !
C'est un poète aussi subtil que réaliste...

J'aime ses textes autant que ses mélodies ce qui est assez rare 🤔

A écouter sans modération !

Willow Tree 05:58
The old man stood next to me under the willow tree and he asked me, he asked me for my time. The old man stood next to me under the willow tree and he asked me, he asked me for my time. The serenade it weeped to me lost souls for eternity, still the cold river flowed beneath that willow tree, shattered dreams and truths belied, I saw the world through virgin eyes and whispered she release me please and take away my misery . . . oh oh oh wo oh oh . . . The old man stood next to me under the willow tree and he asked me, yeah he asked me for my time. Take me back from whence I came become one with he that hath no name, he lost his love under that old willow tree. Forbidden fruit taste not my blood, a crimson tide became a flood and so she died beneath that old willow tree. The old man stood next to me under the willow tree and he asked me yeah he asked me for my time. He warned of spent and wasted lives and told of love for his dear wife and the day she died under that old willow tree, he warned of spent and wasted lives and told of love for his dear wife and the day she died under that old willow tree. The old man stood next to me, under the willow tree and he asked me for my time.

Til Tomorrow 05:25
Alone and lost in a dark and empty place, walking in an endless labyrinth, faceless people removed of any grace, haunted by demons our time is drawing near, wait til tomorrow . . . Shall we wait for tomorrow, will we wait for tomorrow? no no no . . . The blood axe of my fathers lies dusty in its tomb, the vanquisher of evil grows quietly in her womb, awaken the old vanguard and devour its evil soul and the few that remain to start again will rise up from their graves again tomorrow . . . Toothless is the dragon must raise his weary head, for in its belly still burns the fire that the evil ones still dread, great leader shall He rise again and together we will slay them all and so begins our noble war and so begins our final war tomorrow . . . Toothless is the dragon must raise his weary head, for in its belly still burns the fire that the evil ones still dread, great leader shall He rise again and together we will slay them all and so begins our noble war and so begins our final war tomorrow.

Cruel Beast 05:27
Cold winds of the lands that's in my blood, ancient temple speaks of mystery, draws my soul, draws my soul towards when I sleep. Cruel Beast who have owned me for so long, the day is coming and we herald the new song, our gods who have slept, slept for an age, the blood will spill and we will live again, we will live again. Converge together in the place of our seed, released from hell and our souls will be free and the gods of our creed will awaken the fire thats within. Old god we call on your name, the futures foretold and the beast will be slain and the phoenix will rise and the new dawn shall start and the remains of their empire will be gone forevermore.

Cross my heart and I hope to die, don't ever tell a lie. Cross my heart and I hope to die don't ever tell a lie. Cross my heart and I hope and I hope to die, don't ever don't ever tell a lie. Oh the rich man danced on the old beggars grave, he drank from the poisoned vase, oh the rich man danced on the old beggars grave he drank from the poisoned vase. Oh he sold his soul for the glimmer of gold now for eternity he will pay. Tear out my heart but I will remain long after the end of your reign, tear out my heart but I shall remain long after the end of your reign. Cross my heart and I hope and I hope to die, don't ever don't ever tell a lie, don't ever don't ever tell a lie . . . cross my heart . . . cross my heart.

Treachery 04:26
I wonder if it could be me, will I keep my dignity, yet another brother has fallen from grace. It hits you when you least expect, stick a knife into my back and test my faith in my fellow man. Is this the price I must pay for my naivety of the snakes living in our midst. Treachery is rife these days, should I change my charity, to a heart of stone and callousness. Another brother has fallen from grace, and once again they spit in my face. There's a new generation that knows no shame, but we've done no wrong and we will not change, no we will not change. Earn your stripes and stand in line, respect is earned when you're on the front line, for all our martyrs who stood before. Who paved the way for the blood and soil who paved the way for the blood and soil, now earn your stripes and stand in line. For all our martyrs who stood before, who paved the way for the blood and soil, respect is earned when you're on the front line. Now earn your stripes and stand in line, earn your stripes and stand in line, respect is earned when you're on the front line.

Naked Face 06:57
The terror came in silence in a time of famine without name, you could pick the dirt for what was spilled when they took next years grain away, any dreams that they still entertained flew away with fleeing crows, as the rifles felled the peasants who questioned or dared say no. In the east they saw the naked face, full of hate rage and envy, in a land built not by their own hands the chosen few enslaved the many, in lands where life was always hard a time came more savage still, starvation and mass murder grew under an alien iron heel. One day we may see the naked face and we shall rue the day and grieve those spent chances that we had to turn away. There people learned what fear was, from the old enemy of the world, swapped one master for another, the red flag a shroud unfurled, the old enemy wears many masks to suit his choice of guile, but whatever mask he choose to use, tears of grief remain the price. Illusion cast by smoke and mirror, a nightmare made reality, scraps of black bread and stinking rags in the name of enforced equality, and all that holds a folk together or gives a people self respect, was first derided and then scorned, then became a treasonous act. There truth quickly became a crime and madness drowned out sanity, soon none dared speak against the wrongs of slavery dressed as liberty. One day we may see the naked face and we shall rue the day and grieve those spent chances that we had to turn away, one day we may see the naked face and we shall rue the day and grieve those spent chances that we had to turn away. One day we may see the naked face and we shall rue the day and grieve those spent chances that we had to turn away.
